Earlier this year, we conducted a comprehensive study into the technological advancement and opportunities in Blockchain. ​ The objective of the study was to understand development trends, future opportunities, technology road maps and to identify emerging areas across  various industries.

The Blockchain Roadmap

Currently, Blockchain is being tested and developed especially in the areas of finance and supply chain. Cloud providers are offering Blockchain development platforms for ease of deployment and to combat counterfeit products. By 2022, AI, IoT and Blockchain will combine for device lifecycle management and Blockchain will enhance security of EHR and to revolutionize EHR interoperability.

The Future of Blockchain

Within 5-6 years, it’s expected that the Blockchain market will be valued at $2.3 billion and more than 500 companies will develop Blockchain powered applications.
